Twelve (12) health talk was held on Zone FM, Adaas FM and Kintampo GBC radio on air, land reclamation and noise pollution of planting of trees, desilting of choked gutters and noise control measures, and the expected reduction in air and noise exposure in the Municipality.
Soil warning areas which are human dwelling are to be reclaimed with gravels to reduce mosquitos’ breeding grounds in the Municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Kintampo North Municipality Hon. Isaac Baffoe Ameyaw inspected the ongoing pavement works at the Kintampo Mighty waterfalls.
The project is aimed at beautifying the waterfalls which will in effect boost tourism in the Municipality.
The Kintampo-North Municipality is blessed with iconic tourist attractions backed with a rich history and promoting and developing them is one of the key ways the Municipal Chief Executive through the Central Government intends to use to boost the economic growth of Kintampo-North.
