The Kintampo Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has on today 14th February, 2024 marked the Regional Celebration of the National Chocolate Day.
The theme for this year’s celebration is, “Eat Chocolate, Stay Healthy, Grow Ghana”. The Municipal Chief Executive addressing the students advised them to recognise the pivotal role Education plays in shaping our future and advancing the interest of our nation. He charged them to use their unique opportunity to blend their education with the cultivation and promotion of Ghanaian products. He advised them to let their classrooms be laboratories of innovation where they can explore new ideas, develop new skills and create value-added products that showcase the excellence of Ghanaian goods to the world.
He used the occasion to thank the Ghana Tourism Authority for giving the Kintampo Mighty waterfalls a new face look making it the only Waterfalls in Ghana with a Canopy walk and an entirely pavement blocks coupled with a serene environment.
He encouraged tourists and every Ghanaian to make Kintampo Waterfalls a place to visit.
Students that graced the occasion were drawn from Techiman SHS, Abrafi SHS , Nkoranza SHS and Kintampo SHS.
