MCE MEET KINTAMPO MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY STAFF.

As part of the Agenda for the ruling political party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) to Re-setting Ghana, the Kintampo Municipal Assembly who is headed by Mr. Isaac Donkor the representative of the President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama in the Municipality had Departmental Herds Meeting and Staff durbar at the Kintampo Municipal Assembly Hall.

The main idea of the meeting with workers of the Municipal Assembly was to deliberate issues in relation with the development of the Kintampo Municipality and to introduce himself to all the Municipal Assembly staff he is to working with and to have in-depth knowledge of the activities in their various Departments and Units, challenges and other related issues that may have negativity in productivity.

In a shot address by the Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Isaac Donkor, outlined his Vision statement in five key areas which were; to strengthening Local Governance and transparency, he ensuring public trust, open communication, transparency and accountability in every aspect in the Municipality.

Under infrastructure development Mr. Donkor Spoke of improvement of roads networks, market upgrading, water system and not to forget of extension and maintain electrification projects in the Municipality.

The municipal chief Executive touched on Youth and women entrepreneurship, vocational training which will be a source of investment to the people who are our future leaders.

 In Agriculture and economic Development in the Municipality, he spoke of the potentiality of the municipality in the aspect of prioritizing agro processing, storage facilities to prevent linkages in our market and to boost productivity and income of the people and the Municipality at large.

In conclusion health, education and social services, will also be supported by improvement in schools’ infrastructure, healthcare access and sanitation in the kintampo Municipality.

MCE in his last remarks stated that, “I am not here to merely direct but to listen, learn and to lead with your support and he expect professionalism, innovation, and shared commitment to excellence”.

Herds of department delivered their various departmental activities, challenges and numbers of staff in the officers.
