The Assembly labourers in collaboration with Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Citizen of Kintampo were involved in third (3rd ) quarter of routine drains cleansing exercise, lorry parks and in the two (2) markets.
The market women, drivers and the general public are advised to desist from littering and rather deposit their waste in the domestic waste bins
Landlords/ladies are advised to request for domestic waste bins to prevent indiscriminate dumping of household refuse.
Wastes collected are sent to the communal containers, so that the skip truck and compactor transport them to the final disposal site.
There is spillages in most of the communal container sites due to breakdown of the skip truck, long delay of refuse attendant and monthly allowances delayed.
